Money has no usefullness until you spend it.
If stranded I would rather have a lifetime supply of food instead of the money to pay for it.
It is only a placeholder to get what you need to survive.
That is what makes capitalism backwards.
People get caught up in all of the things money can buy, they lose the point of it.
It is childish to see an automobile as a status symbol.
